Rescue 65 for Veiligheidsregio Zuid-Limburg

Stormer Workboats has delivered a new Rescue 65, built on behalf of the fire service of Veiligheidsregio Zuid-Limburg. The vessel is powered by a 150 hp Yamaha outboard and is fully equipped for modern water rescue operations.

The Rescue 65 is part of Stormer’s Rescue & Patrol series, built for operations where time, precision and reliability make the difference. Whether the task is search and rescue, law enforcement or coastguard duty, these vessels deliver exceptional maneuverability and safety. The robust aluminium hull, combined with features such as integrated side protection and optional suspension seating, ensures durability and crew comfort even under demanding conditions. For this Rescue 65, transport and deployment were a central design consideration. The vessel is carried in a purpose built hook-lift container, which allows the boat to be moved and launched wherever an incident occurs. This setup shortens transport and launch times and gives the region faster, more reliable response capability across its full operating area, without depending on fixed launch points.
